Soil Spectral Library of Israel

The SSL of Israel contains soil samples collected over 50 years from various geographic, topographic and climate regions of Israel. The samples were sourced by soil collectors, soil surveyors, soil researchers and laboratories. The library contains 3D spatial data, physical, chemical and spectral data at 350-3500 spectral range. This project aims to use GIS to present the samples, and allow users to filter for various soil traits, map and data mine. This database was made accessible to researchers, field labs, farmers and decsion makers all over the world.
